Coolant / antifreeze - any I can get from a petrol station?

I want to top up my MCSC coolant right now (Sunday Evening) - my only choice is a petrol station - is there anything particularly I should be looking for? Any particular product or details about the product? eg. is BP own-brand OK?

Also - if my coolant level (engine cold) is a bit below minimum (lower than level of the swirly plastic bits!) how much coolant will I need to buy? 2 litres or 5? And do I mix it with normal tap water or does it need to be distilled or anything special?

---edit--- probably gonna have to go Halfords tomorrow now......

is this OK??

Thx
