I have a 1st gen MINI cooper (56 plate) and bought it second hand with 7000miles in the clock. I have looked at the service indicator and it says that it will need it's 1st service (hasn't currently had anything done) when it has reached about 15,000 miles. Now the problem is that I only currently do about 4000 miles tops a year so obviously I am not gonna reach the 15,000 for a good long while. So what I am wanting to know is a) will it be a problem not having it serviced for possibly another 2 years? And b) when I press the button on the speedo dial there is another figure that comes up after the number of miles to the service, is this the number of miles left before the brake fluid needs changing? This is currently at 696. Any advice appreciated, ta
P.S. I also have the TLC pack on it until 2011.
