I'm sure it is and i can attest to that in regards to the one i owned. It certainly felt like it had everyone of the 218bhps!!!

Having said that....my subsequent JCW did not feel much different except for the last 1000rpm or so where the GP has that extra grunt. The GP also seemed to be more consistent througout the year due to the larger intercooler.
