You are really - leather is a natural product, unlike human skin which is alive, leather doesn't produce its own oils to stop it drying out. Thing is as the leather cannot produce its own oils therefore can dry out, crack etc.

Theres a variety of different products you could use, autoglym cleaner followed by care cream is a good combination that seems to work. Should be able to get both items for under £15 from halfords - its usually on 3 for 2 so you could get some polish or something else made by autoglym too for free!

And you're best to do it every 6 months!
