I too had my R56 S from new in Dec '06, and have parted company with her this week, traded in for an Audi A3 2.0T. It was a bit
as despite the problems, I enjoyed the car immensely. The Audi has similar performance, but is much more refined. I may well return to MINI sometime in the future, but I will be more wary if I do, particularly if the model is accompanied with a new engine type!
