| Whelp, now they're going to have to change the Audio Tour CD again--I bet that's going to cheese them off!
We didn't realize we had any such thing until the drive home on Sunday. Lo and behold, we found the CD in the packet of stuff they gave out at the entrance to the Auto Road. The packet immediately went into the backseat and I set course on navigating up the hill. The CD is actually pretty interesting and well done, with a mix of ecological and historical info.
There's about five minutes worth of all the 'record-holder' performances--from the early days to present. My favorite was the chap who went up on foot, backwards, with a loaded wheelbarrow, and barefoot. Bet he wishes he'd a thought about bringing the camel... |
