Hi guys,

Thanks for your comments - they're much appreciated! I tried some polish, working in a circular motion and it didn't get rid of the mark I'm afraid

However, thinking on my feet I used a little bit of T-Cut and placed quite a lot of pressure on the decal and the mark was removed within 1-2 minutes. I then finished it off with a bit of polish and it's good as new!

So if anyone's looking for advice I'd say:

1) Try some polish first and wipe in a circular motion. If this fails:
2) Grab a little bit of t-cut and wipe in a circular motion until the mark is removed. If it doesn't seem like the mark is disappearing at all after 30 seconds - stop, as you don't want to damage your car! Once the mark has gone, grab some polish to protect the layer.
