| I have had problems with the usb and bluetooth since I got the car, it does not seem to recognise when a usb device is plugged in at all and cannot select it when plugged in on the display so it just doesn't. I've also not been able to get the bluetooth to work since I got the car. The car is a 2008 mini cooper d from May 2008. However, due in part to having an aversion to car dealers I have only recently had it looked at (in allegedly more detail) by the dealer. Surprise, surprise apparently the fault in my car is not covered by the warranty as apparently it has been caused by water damage under the passenger seat where the bluetooth electrical stuff is found. I find it very difficult to believe that any water damage has occurred in this area or any of the car as I do not make a habit of bathing in in my car or allowing local ducks to swim in a makeshift car/pond. To get it fixed it will cost over £500 which I assume is before VAT. Any way after that rant (sorry very angry with car dealer,so strange how it just happens to be a problem not under the warranty, but they are the experts!), just wondered what problem you have been having with your car in case it is something similar.
