I've just had my windscreen replaced on tuesday, and was told by the Autoglass fitter that he fits more Mini windscreens than any other models. Apparently, they order a pallet load at a time as opposed to 2 or 3 for other makes/models

He also mentioned this was due to the increased angle of the screen, meaning less chance of the 'projectile' glancing off the screen..

BTW.. it's a Pilkington glass fitted to mine now...
