After a full day, my mums car hood wouldn't fully go down, it started to go down but stopped at the second stage. We searched a trawled lots of posts, took out the parcel shelf and tried various rituals and pressing different buttons in different sequences
. But it was a simple as the parcel shelf was on a higher level. It needs to be on the bottom level to use the roof, as it rests on a button on the left hand side of a boot that tells the roof it is ok to fully retract. The manual spoke nothing of this button. So hope this saves someone 7 hours of various prayers, dances, trips to the dealer like it has us, then great. Thanks sooooo much to another post on this site.
