So back to topic, I'd like to hear from others in the USA who are planning to get the JCW package installed. Why are you planning to get it, what else you might add to your car to complement the kit (eg, an intake?), whatever other thoughts you have.

At grave peril of actually dragging this thread back on-topic, I've got a kit on order. Should be at my dealer sometime within the next two weeks. No immediate plans for anything else either performance-related or appearance-related (I've already put JC sigs on my bonnet stripes).

As for the warranty, I went over this one with MINIUSA directly (because I trust most dealers about as far as I can throw them, sorry dealers!). What I was told was that on a retro fit the full remaining duration of your warranty is still valid, just as if you had it installed on a new car. If the retro fit is done at such a time that less than two years of the original warranty remain, the JCW parts have a two year warranty while the rest goes out of warranty on schedule...
