I have never gotten the EP light before. One thing I do know is that if the light does not stay solid on, there will not be any error codes stored in memory. My guess is that their recommendation will be to replace your transmission or something, but I personally doubt you have any problem. When a tech hooks up your car, he should know right away if there is a code stored and what it means. I am not buying into their diagnostic of calling the tech line and wait for Monday....?
