I have the Tamiya - photo shows it atop my 1:1 mini
Advantages:
Its quick (especially if you chuck out the stock motor & put something a bit quicker in)
Good handling
Front wheel drive
Its a kit - so parts are easy to upgrade/replace
Paint it any colour you like (you can even change the wheels to match)
Disadvantages:
You have to get out your screwdrives before you can run it (it take a couple of evenings to build, another one or two to paint the body, depending on your painting skills)
Its not the most scale appearing
You can easily spend the same again on extra bits as you did on the kit
Basically if you want to take it out of the box & run around the drive, its not for you. However if you like building & modding, want spped & handling, and the chance to race its the only choice.
