I'm really interested in how you manged the last bit- splicing the wires in ordr to connect the Advanced Music Mute. My technician wasn't creative enough to think of this idea when he realized the standard adaptor wouldn't fit the radio. I'm in the states, and bought the H-K upgrade for my 2003
MCS. Could you provide some additional details re how to accomplish the splicing, and I can take them to my technician. Also, just to clarify - you have your microphone on the OUTSIDE of the slotted oval-shaped covering to the right of the sunroof controls? Mine's on the inside, and I'm betting that it is contributing to the poor outgoing sound quality. Thanks for any additional informnation you can provide.
