I bought mine at HC. I also have a Honda I bought there in '96, and I still take it there for service.

I'm not likely to keep going back there for MINI service, though. I've been in twice, and it's been fairly poor both times. In one case, I asked them to put the car on the lift and check by the rear bumper for damage, because I had been "hard-tapped" from behind. They were going to charge me for it, until I raised a stink.

Mark talks a good show -- it remains to be seen if he'll make a difference there, but I doubt it.

Peabody, on the other hand -- fantastic. I had the MINI towed there from Hookset NH after the fabled porcupine incident. Gary was incredibly helpful, even though I ended up using a body shop for repairs. They spent at least an hour -- probably more -- and when I suggested that he write me a bill for the time, he declined. So, they certainly show no bias against people who purchased elsewhere. His message wasa that he wanted me as a service customer no matter where the car made landfall.
