It is a poor reflection on the design of the 6 speed box when people are commenting that they think they might damage the thing trying to select reverse. I am sure that they could modify the design so that it requires slightly less herculean efforts to get to reverse. I have commented previously that in the users guide it says 'push the lever to the left (UK) till the detent is overcome then select reverse', there is no mention of slaps or whacking from the right etc. etc. Perhaps time for a redesign or maybe rewrite of the manual! |
