Updated Cape May / Fall Foliage Run Oct 12th

UpDATE for Cape May / Fall Foliage Run Oct 12th

If you haven’t signed up for the Cape May Run Please do so. This
is going to be so much Fun and Beautiful.

Peter and I spent all day yesterday coming the Roads of NJ down to
Cape May. Not that the route is official set yet but 47 is a nice
leisurely drive. Not many twisties but, for the time of year we
will be venturing out it certainly will prove to have the scenic
look we are out to capture and that is the Fall Foliage. We found a
couple spots that we will use for catch up points to gather our
flock, gaggle, litter, school, or what ever it is you call a bunch
of MINI’s back together. We will pass through many small towns
and our first pottie break will be at a McDonald’s that has ample
parking. There is a huge old abandon cement factory in the
background to boot so it could prove a somewhat cool photo op for us.

We found 3 lighthouses along the way. The first one very very cool
and old. Sits on a back road and will be tight but, not a problem
for our MINI’s. We will post some photos that we took yesterday
on our site and I will be sure to share them with all. So at least you all know where we are going. Or have somewhat of a clue. The 2nd Lighthouse was in North Wildwood though under repair this is after all a lighthouse run so we have to stop. They have a beautiful flower garden the beach is right behind it and there is ample road parking right outside the lighthouse. Guess what? There is a McDonalds right around the corner so, another pottie break J Then off to Cape May we go. The Cape May lighthouse is Huge and
Gorgeous. The beach is a just a short walk away, ample parking but,
no potties so you’ll have to wait till we get to the Ferry.

The Cape May Ferry pavilion is gorgeous. There are many amenities
here, bathrooms, restaurant, lounge, and even a mini putting green.
Yes, those of you put put maniacs bring a club and enjoy. Air-
conditioned pavilion tourist information and simply a beautiful
place to sit and relax for our ride across the mini pond (hehehe).
For most of us this will be the first venture on water that our
babies have experienced since the big ride across the big pond. The
Ferry ride will also offer food and beverages.

Remember to RSVP as soon as you can to assure your ride on the
Ferry. Send me an email with your passenger count and your car info
