My first tank got me about 600 miles.
With a 60/40 mix of city/motorway driving I am currently getting 50.4 mpg according to the OBC.
If you can it might also be an idea to look at the MFSW for the cruise control. Along with the six speed box it makes for a very relaxed drive if you do a lot of motorway miles.
As mentioned in a few other posts the reason for getting rid of the driver side shelf is for safety reasons as in the American market. You may be able to order the parts in the UK to do the conversion.
As a sidenote, Growler (the GF named him) is getting plenty of looks and 'nice car' comments. But the look on peoples faces when you start it up and they find out its a diesel is excellent :-) |
