Although I live and run a driving school in Oxford I would have used a mini anyway . The one and the D are very similar cars for tuition. The D gains on fuel ( 50+ MPG ) , the turbo gives good exceleration , has traction control as standard , and is good for the manoeuvers and finally the pupils love it .I have a few pupils who work at BMW so I get to see things that perhaps I should not see , so that is why I dont post messages to confirm or deny rumours.
