Driven a Saturn Vue with a CVT. Won't dare compare it to a MINI, but it sure felt like an automatic to me.

Glad you like it better than a standard slush box and that MINI is making something for the "non-manual crowd".

But like you I knew what I wanted in a car .......and that was a 6 speed and a clutch. To each their own I guess.
