Has anyone got any ideas what could cause this, as its on the inside I dont think it can be cause by a stone or anything, I can only assume that it could be a stress crack.
I have done 17500 miles and would hope that a windscreen would last longer than that.

Do you think I could get it replaced under warranty? Has anyone else has this problem?

Thanks for any info

Hello,

Been a problem since day one, still around, although claims that strengthened a-pillars, and/or tougher glass will do the trick, have recently come to light. Tougher glass allegedly being retrofitted, stronget a-pillars being put in at the factory. Not entirely conviced about the tough glass retro fit, but the a-piller re-enforcement makes some sense for sure.

Try searching for wind* (www.mini2.com/forum/search.php) in the faults and fixes forum, and you'll find all you need to know...
