i have the same set up you've ordered - wave & boot cd changer. The wave radio does have RDS & Traffic Announcement. With Boost you get a better overall sound (apparently) & the speed related auto volume adjustment.

note the wave unit is a casette radio so you get a casette head unit but because you've ordered the boot mounted Cd changer you get CD as well.
