Early cars had a fuel fill balance problem, you do'nt say how new your MINI is, the tank is in two sections either side of the exhaust, so the fuel should 'balance itself' between the two halves, my first car (2001 spec) would indicate full on the gauge at the pump, the i'd drive a 1/4 mile and it would take another 10 litres easily. The balance pipe, breather was modded to make it fill properly, should take near 50 litres from almost dry. If no " take me to your dealer" |
