Oooooh, good luck with the 17s! When I got my MINI the one thing I decided I HAD to have were the 17s!

When you are parking, you need to lower the appropriate wing mirror so that you get a better view of the kerb and your back wheel - this should at least reduce the chance of kerbing your beautiful alloys! (After a bit of practice, a quick movement with the left hand should have the mirror perfectly in place ready for parking!)
