| Keeping a good coat of wax on the car makes bugs easirer to clean off, also washing at least once a week helps too.
Avoid those nasty sponges with the rough side or rough cover - your clear coat WILL scratch if you use one of these - especially on a dark car!
I personally have a squirty bottle filled with 25/75 car wash to water and squirt the front end in advance of washing the car so that the bugs have softened up. Also good to soak the wheels with too.
