My MINI's coolant is lost slowly over time. It settles down eventually but when they have to do work and drain and refill the whole thing it takes a while to burp the air out and needs a few top ups before it stabilizes again. They've pressure tested it a few times and it never overheats or anything so while I'm still a bit perplexed and mildy unamused by the habit (no other car I've owned has dropped the coolant level noticably) I'm not overly worried about it. Almost 36000km and counting...
