Your daily travels sound like mine, and I find the CVT to be terrific and lots of fun. I can leave it in D and just do the mindless commute (and get better mileage), or flick it into SD for a more aggressive drive. Or, if I want to have more fun and be more involved, I can do the manual shifting. Any way you choose, it's great to have choices! I'm really happy with the CVT.
