If I read out the VIN and put the last 7 chars into the BMW decoder (as mentioned in cristos post) I get the following (Chassis number blanked out)

Vehicle code RB11
Series R50
Model One 1.4d
Body type coupe
Catalog model ECE
Production date 2003 / 06
Engine W17
Transmission Unknown
Steering Left
Catalyzer YES

Thus, it says in particular that the vehicle code for the One D is RB 11.
