I've got my JCW MCS coming in January - I was only going to get one if I could afford the insurance i.e. if it was under £1,000. First 5 or 6 quotes were all over £1500 (thoughts and dreams of having my mini works were fading..) until I got one from Mini Cover for £719!!!!!! wiping nearly half off all previous quotes. I am 28, girl, east london postcode, kept in driveway, no points/convictions, and 6 years no claims, boyfriend on insurance (not that he'll be driving it ever!!!).

If you've got a lot of things in your favour (i.e. no claims discount, no convictions) then you can get a decent quote. Other decent-ish quote I got was from Its4me.co.uk - specialising in young people with performance/sports cars.
