I can not say the fuel consumption is better with the powerbox. Anyway it is not worse either I guess. (look my post in the fuel consumption topic)
However the car is a lot more vivid, mostly due to the extra torque and larger bandwith. In accelerations it's worth to keep it going untill 4500 rpm, whilst having +200 Nm from 2000 rpm on.
