I was so upset that my local dealer did not even want to give me TLC or anything on a minimally specced Cooper S that I imported one from Belgium. Even with the cost of a year's warranty to match the English 3 years I have saved almost 3K and as a result the car has most of the options because of the savings. I think I was a little lucky with the exchange rate which I fixed when I ordered the car but we still pay an awful lot more in this country. The car is Uk spec and it must be mad when a car is made in the Uk shipped to Belgium then transported on a lowloader back to the Uk and it saves money!!! |
