All,
I spoke to Ernest at Checkered Flag today. They were thrilled with the participation in Saturday's Rally, and mentioned a couple of things to pass on:
1. The next time we do an event with good participation, let Checkered Flag know and they'll provide some giveaways. I specifically mentioned that we're planning on a strong showing for Bay Days.
2. Checkered Flag MINI will celebrate their second anniversary in April. They're planning a big event for local MINI owners and would like our inputs as to what they should do and the things we'd like to see. After all, we're the customers!!
We can post the inputs here and I can pass them on to Ernest.
It's good for us and it's good for them - we get a better event with "stuff" and they get the best advertising (real people who bought the product). Just a thought - maybe someone could do up a flyer with HRClubMINI and MINI2 on it that they could give to new MINI owners as a way of introducing them to MINI culture.
One last thought - I posted this here vice HRClubMINI because I think it's easier to organize threads here.
