Tyre Insurance Considering the expense of replacing those rubberbands around the wheels if they should suffer some irreparable damage (I tried WHSmith, but they didn't have any black ones ...I thought it might be a good idea to insure them. The RAC want £65 for 12 months cover...which for me, should equate to 24,000 miles worth of peace of mind! I know there will be limitations, like any insurance policy, but from the information I have seen so far, so long as the tyre is legal, they will pay up to £250/tyre replacement, £50/puncture repair, with a maximum of £1250/year. Has anybody been tempted to buy, or got any experience of Tyre Insurance policies? For anybody that wants to look for themselves, click here RAC Tyre Ins. Also do a search in Google, there are plenty other offerings to choose from. |
