Are miles / gallons different in UK than US??? I drove my new MINI Cooper home from New Jersey to Ohio on Friday, computer showed 38.5 MPG (all interstate), and I didn't buy gas until Akron, Ohio (about 420 miles). And only needed about 10 gallons so wasn't near empty.

PS It took about 15 minutes longer than normal to fill 'er up ... everyone wanted to admire my great new car!

Silver/Black Cooper, that I drove 548 miles home on April 12 '02 (14th buyer from Morristown NJ MINI). My other transportation is a silver Paso Fino - Happy Trails!
