I beleive the issue with the air bags and baby seats is that teh baby is facing the rear of the car when on the front seat so if the aor bag goes off it effectivley rockets the bay and seat backwards into the oncoming chair and rear passengers. Rakey can probably go into the whys and wherefore in far more detail though
