Here's an interesting piece of advice from a guy who leaves his manual in neutral when he parks:
Get in the habit of leaving the car in gear.
It's less likely to roll and harder to steal.
I consciously change to in-gear when I park on a hill or on the street downtown.
I'm old and used to drive cars without a clutch switch when I developed my driving habits.
