My friend has one and gives me a lift in in regularly. Points to note are:
1. It is huge
2. Seems very well put together, no real rattles etc A bit bland inside but that's only compared with the MINI which is over the top for a lot of tastes.
3. Seats are superb
4. Very noisy engine even in town - some may feel that's part of the experience though
5. Extremely quick - faster than a standard S
6. Equipment spec not as good. No traction control, only 2 airbags, AC is a £1200 option.
7. Ride a bit more jittery than a MINI
8. Insurance gp 17 v 15 for S
9. No TLC
First service cost £135.
On the whole it is an excellent car. I would consider one against an S if it wasn't so big (my wife likes a wee car) and more expemsive to run than a MINI.
