Thats not too bad... I'd try BMW insurance as they are competitive and are OK with under 25's. First year for me in the S (BMW Insurance - age 23) was $3500 (40% NCB, Hills District post code) which went down to $2300 (50% NCB).

Do take notice of extra excess costs that have to be paid if the driver is under 25 also...
