Personally speaking, perhaps.

I do a huge amount of mile in a year, and a lot of hanging around in traffic too.
That said however, it definately doesn't excuse the 3rd and final time in my new car because my car had only had chance to cover about 2000 mile in it's 2 months of life, and then been parked for a few weeks while I was on my holidays. I returned with a big for it to be broken once and for all by my last MINI
