Finally, after many days of waiting for nature to melt the snow or the city to remove the snow (since Saturday to be exact) I've finally felt comfortable enough with the road conditions to put my MINI back out on the highway. Originally coming from the norhtern part of the US, I've become used to snow removal occuring both during and after the storm. But it wasn't until today (4 days after the last drop of precipitation fell) that I finally saw a snow plow with my own eyes here in the city of Durham. Did anyone else out there have similar frustrations with their county/city's response to the weather we've had here in the Carolinas this past week?
