I saw this thing called a "Baby Bjorn" that is a sling like papoose that allows you to hold them against your chest...I really like the idea of having one of those...haven't gotten the Rakey seal of approval on this item though...as he and DC have informed me it is very important that an infant is able to spend time lying flat...so not too much time in a car seat...I hope a sling is ok because it seems like a great way for Dad and baby to bond.

When I was a kid my parents carried me around in a cardboard peanut-butter box---they always called it a "Jiffy-box", which was somehow a confused mix up of the name for two popular brands Skippy and Jif.

Mrs. Spy Car has informed me that using "Jiffy-boxes" is one family tradition we WILL NOT be carring foward.
