Interesting. Last year when I took my old '03 MCS in to have the mirror switch replaced because the silver paint was coming off, they replaced it with the one that has the little silver button. The dealership had no idea what the button was for and they didn't seem too anxious to replace it again with the correct part. I wonder how much of the wiring harness is already in the MINI's not equipped with electric folding mirrors and if they would need to be activated in the computer. |
