definitely a lot of fun id say...good job to brian and marshall and the rest of the mini guys who's names i didnt catch. i took some pictures with brian's camera but apparently they arent of good enough quality to be shared.

this what i got off the GRM board when i said i thought Coopers would probably move from H stock...

Quote:
A) on a FWD car, the Kumho is probably just as fast as Hoosier. (Look for a tire test from GRM in the near future to confirm/deny this)

B) you've got past national champs in the Mini in 2nd and 7th place in HS, times were not spectacular from these two good (and consistent) drivers.

C) The MINI's spec's of 116hp, 2400lbs and 5.5" wheels are close to other HS cars. Case in point: Jerry Stein's fast HS Ford Escort GT: 140 hp, 2400 or so lbs., 6" wheels (I think).

D) you can't look at any local event results as a rule, you have to look at multiple national level events, including nationals before you say "that car is too fast" Hell, at a local level, my GS Celica ST should be in Super Stock, as that's what its running with in terms of time.

E) You want to see a classing difficulty, look at AS and BS, now that's a whole different level of course dependency vs driver skill vs perceived performance.
