I read somewhere that projected sales for MINI in the UK was only 40,000 units and that currently they're selling way in excess of that.

As for the bug cabrio, I was loading up with shopping in a parent & child space and a mother driving a new 04 bug cabrio parked in the next space. Now we all know that parent & child spaces are huge and yet she still managed to park about 4 foot from the kerb on her side and about 1 foot from my door. She got out had a look and said, "Sorry it's so curvy I can't tell where it starts and ends".
