I think that as the gas prices rise so will purchases of the MINI and cars like it. Only thing I see that needs to change for this to become true, is there needs to be a model that runs on regular unleaded. Americans are too selfish to buy a car for its fuel consumption (or lack there of) and pay for the highest priced gas..... as stupid as that sounds I am afraid its true.
People wont buy this as a car jsut to commute, hope I didn't sound like that. I think people will start rethinking how much car they actually need, and will buy accordingly. The fun factor of the MINI is obviously what sells it, the fuel economy is a plus. |
