I was thinking of going an opposite route....one of the first mods many PT Cruiser folk do to deal with the warning is to buy a label to slap over the existing warning label. I don't know if anyone supplies such a label for the MINI, however the folks at Streamline Design who make one for the PT maybe interested in doing one for the MINI. I'll post any further details if a MINI label is in the making.

It's a decal that looks as if it cannot be peeled off but it can!

Trust me - I got it off!

Just pour some Goo gone on it, let it sit for like 10 minutes until it dries. Then pour some acetone on it. You really have to let the goo gone sit. The decal should then come off with very little effort (slight rubbing with your thumb).
