Yes. I do the filter every oil change. When I got the car at the dealer, I picked up 6 oil filters at the same time. Since I bought the car in Chicago, and I live in Texas I figured the free oil service at the dealer would cost me more than a few oil filters.
That's the price you pay for living in Texas!
