You know, within months, there are going to be hundreds of MINI's running around my area, and I for one do not like having a car that looks just like every other car on the road.. Now the MINI is going to be a distinctive car, and it will get attention no matter what, but I don't want my car to be just like every other MINI that I see driving by. I'm going to make this car mine, and the first thing that is going to be changed are the wheels. Now if someone would make 16" superlight'esque wheels for the car, I'd be all over that.. But they don't, so I'm going to go with a super strong ultra lightweight wheel like a 16" BBS..
Of course, this is just my opinion, and in my little world, only my opinion counts! 8D ..
I agree that the 17" wheels look to be a bit oversized for such a small car. 16's are what I'd consider to be a perfect fit for the MINI. Plus they leave a good amount of sidewall for a more forgiving ride. I might think differently once I see a MINI with 17's in real life. I reseve the right to change my mind at any time I see fit
