By the time I am all done, I will have paid a $1500 premium for my baby... but to me, the car, not having to spend time I don't have to travel somewhere, and not paying a seperate company shipping (if they damage it, who knows what it would take to fix it)... and getting EXACTLY what I want are all part of the premium. I know it might sound like a rip off, but one dealer wanted to charge $5000 over MSRP, another dealer tried to tell me that they would only charge me $2000 over, but also told me the sticker was $1500 more than what it actually was... there is only one dealer in SoCal (Vegas included) that wasn't charging a premium, and they told me it was a 1 year + waiting list, and I no special ordering- I got what I got... So I made my choice, and am very happy. My MA, while a little overloaded, has been great with my pestering and questions, hasn't treated me like a stupid woman (I actually know quite a bit about cars), and I'm getting a MINI!!!!!!!!! I ordered it from Nick Alexander MINI in LA, CA...
