Damn the lot of you, and damn these forums too…. It seems that just about every new thread I read I end up adding something to my
MCS spec – I’ve just ordered a reg from DVLA (MC54 MOL – Mol being the Mrs’ nickname).
But what a tedious experience! It was like talking to a Welsh automaton! I’ve never been through such a bland, laborious and scripted phone call. I can understand that there must be a lot of obligatory stuff for them to say, but this even made supermarket announcers sound enthusiastic by comparison!
And some of the questions seemed a bit weird – “What is the significance of the MOL?” “What is the significance of the
MC?” I guess this is just so if I said “I want to make the 5 look like an S for Mini Cooper S” they could tell me I wasn’t allowed to. Wonder what the X5 driver said when they asked him the significance of W44 NKR?
